Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I recently opened a law firm that specializes in Estate Planning (Wills, Trusts, Etc.). I would like a relatively simple yet classy logo that shows: stability, trust, confidence, professionalism, values. I would like the colors and design to be conservative and rich, not whimsical and goofy. It must show professionalism to my clients. I would prefer that it be more of an abstract type of logo instead of a normal attorney image such as "Scales of Justice" which so many attorneys have on their logo.

My company name is: St. Louis Estate Planning, LLC. The name can be incorporated into the logo, or I'm OK with the name sitting to the right of my logo. My current letterhead has my company name written in all caps in High Tower Text font. I think that font gives it a strong look.

In St. Louis Missouri, where we I am based, and where the company got its name, the defining civic landmark is the Gateway Arch. Therefore, many companies which are based in St. Louis and that have the name St. Louis in the company name, frequently have some reference to the image of the Arch or a play on this idea. I am open to that, or am willing to not use a variation of the Arch at all. If the Arch is used, I don't want it overpowering or look like the McDonalds Arch.

I would like the logo to have colors in it. But I would also like to be able to get copies of it in all white and all black so I can use it with different backgrounds, or when I'm not printing in color.
