This brand is in your face high energy student driven stuff! Yes I mean stuff! Hats tees, gym shorts we are here to provide clothing to those who believe they are doing everything they can to make a name!

YRS, the YRS concept came about when I realized that the major thing my father and me had in common was YRS, YRS of experience (him) and YRS of youth and high energy (me). But we realized that YRS speaks to everyone, everyone who has a vision of creating something for a career, or creating a memory for a night. YRS endorses all forms of creativity and “spark.” This “spark” I just spoke of is what drives YRS- Young Relentless Students, this “spark” is in every YRS, and we are here to express this spark through cool new tees,


This logo is going to be for my new clothing brand, young relentless students, or YRS, here is the essence of the brand.

its all about the R: YRS embodies everything but were really talking to those people who are relentless and we want the R to be really a vocal point within the brand. I dont want it to take away from the rest of the logo, but defiantly have a higher value then the Y or S.

I would love to see a cool abstract design that can be associated with the YRS brand, like a swoosh i would love to have something that in ten years people associate with the young relentless students brand.

I wanna be romanced by the design, when i see it i will know it is the right one, i dont want to settle for less then what is great, relentlessness in the production of YRS is key to bringing the brand to life. When your designing this logo, I want you to think back to when you where a young artist and either struggling to be noticed or just didnt think you could make it your career, and the "it" in you your relentlessness that drove you to keep drawing and innovating! that essence is what i need in my design!

Lastly the brand needs to have a social media feel, we were inspired by facebook twitter, or better the digital era, young people who believe that the ability to network via the internet is key. Another inspiration of YRS is that students do not equal the years 18-22! Everyone is a student of something!, music is a huge influence of yrs music culture, techno music pump up music that makes your blood go on edge!, sports! Is yrs! Every victory every championship is the ultimate ability to be relentless for the duration of a full season and then in the post season. Also think of xgames. The idea of relentlessness goes far beyond these areas, military, life threatening illneses these people are all relentless these are all the people that inspired yrs to be born!

YRS= fresh, youth- not in age but in spirit, original, exciting, innovative, RELENTLESS, never give up, perseverance. And students!

Also, I will be creating T shirts after this logo, so if you like the concept and think this is cool, keep an eye out on thursday for the brief for tee shirt orders
