Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Create a new logo for a software development company.

We create software for the commercial marine sector, this includes navigation systems, tidal data collection and prediction software.

Our main company associations are with shipping, the ocean & navigation.

We would like to see designs that communicate that we are a modern technology company. We do not have any tagline. We will be using this as part of a new website and a company 'make-over' - the logo does not need to fit in with the current website style.

The logo does not necessarily have to include the company name (if this is the case we would need to be able to place the company name somewhere adjacent to the logo easily).

Ideally, the logo should be 'clever' e.g. some kind of pictorial pun/double-meaning - that will make people look twice.

We like this colour (Red: 128, Green: 0, Blue: 128) - but not essential to use this.
