Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for a new private medical practice called “Melbourne Interventional Radiology Group” (aka MIRG). This is a specialist medical practice performing image guided surgical procedures using advanced technology on a wide range of adult patients.

We are after a logo to be used on our website, business cards and ancillary paperwork. The letters “MIRG” do not have to be incorporated into the logo itself but will need to appear nearby.

Many of our patients will be in an older age group (70+ yrs) and suffering from cancer, but some of our patients are much younger (20-30yrs) and do not have cancer.

The successful logo design will therefore be contemporary, but will still appeal to the older generations. It should be bright and joyful, not dreary.

An abstract logo is our current preference, rather than a logo themed on our medical procedures.

Our favourite logo that we’ve seen for other companies so far is the Vividways logo, visible at http://blog.spoongraphics.co.uk/tutorials/logo-design-process-and-walkthrough-for-vivid-ways. We like the use of bright cheerful colour and the three-dimensional twisting ribbon, which is both simple and complex at the same time.
