Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We need a design for an African capital city that is looking to rebrand itself with a new logo in an "I Love NY" way. The objective is to attract new tourists and investors. In the seventies and eighties Lomé, the capital of Togo, was known as a hip metropolis. Now, 60% of Lomé's population is under 25 and we want to show the face of a young, dynamic city.
The hashtag is part of the logo. Because the words Love and Lomé are almost identical, save for the v and m and the accent, we want to find a way to draw a red heart placing the m above the v, so that the two words Love and Lomé merge into one. The designer will have to find a clever way to include the accent in Lomé. We would need to see the color red for the heart. The final design should communicate hospitality, positivity and love.
