Flyer-Design Kurzbeschreibung

This project is for the design of a Quick Start guide for the ARC-NRG Pushup Home Exercise Machine.

The Object of this Quick Start Guide is to give users the necessary initial instructions for Assembly and Basic Use of the Device, inclusive of the following elements:
1) List of Components
2) Assembly Instructions
3) Correct Body Position for Use, Height & Comfort Adjustment
4) Adjusting the desired Level of Resistance
5) Getting On - Easy Setting
6) Getting on – Medium to Hard Setting
7) Caution statement.
8) Direction to the web site for more information and Work Out Routines / Exercises.
9) Space to have a Unique Web Login code printed. “go to www.arcnrg.com and use this code to access ARC-NRG Workouts and Exercises”. [NB: this web site is not yet live].

The object is to represent most of the above graphically, rather than with a lot of written instruction – making this Quick Start Guide easy to follow in any language – so minimal text should be used to communicate the instructions.

The Style of this Guide is to be based on reasonably detailed Illustration – not photo images. The Images provided are for reference only, and not to be used in the design. They may however be copied closely for the illustrations. One of the attachments to this brief is an Example Quick Start Guide for a HP Photosmart printer. This is a good example of the style I am looking for;
- Reasonably detailed illustrations that give enough detail to be clear on what the instruction is.
- Easy follow along layout so minimal to no written instruction is needed.

The exception for written instruction would be the Caution Statement – I would like to have this in;
- English
- French
- Spanish
- German
- Chinese (Mandarin)

Special notes to be aware of:
Getting On Easy Setting: Resistance Level Adjustment Settings 1 to 3 (Note the orientation of the machine: Chest support is raised in the air and Foot Rest is on the Ground).

Getting on Hard Settings: Resistance Level Adjustment Settings 4 to 15 (Note the orientation of the machine: Chest Support is on the ground and Foot Rest is raised in the air).
- Illustration for Step. 2: It’s important to illustrate that the user is required to take care in visually locating their first foot gently onto the Foot Rest.
- Illustration for Step. 3: It’s important to illustrate that to avoid injury the user should take care to gently apply downward pressure on the Foot Rest so the Chest Support(s) may make slow/gentle contact with the user’s Chest area.

Final Print size for this Quick Start Guide can be unto A3 in size - with printing on both sides if required.
