Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We just changed our name from Greater Westerly-Pawcatuck Chamber of Commerce to Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce. We need a logo design for a business organization that serves a region that encompasses a section of CT and RI (members from several towns). We are along the shore primarily. Our present logo has a wave in it and it is very recognizable as part of our identity. Some form of the wave should be incorporated. Text needs to be very readable and in good proportion to overall design size. With our present logo, the words are tiny and not legible when the logo is reduced- major problem on our posters and signage. Our organization is highly professional, fast paced, action oriented and we rely on synergy and community partnerships to achieve our goals. Ocean colors are best (like the dark teal we have presently, or darker more like navy, or blues like water, and black. Shilouette of town buildings with ocean wave would also be an interesting concept.

Muss haben

• organization name. Please make the words "chamber of commerce" more prominent than the words"ocean community". The words "of" and "community" can be very small.
• water or nautical feel (compass, anchor, wave) and stacked lettering.
• 2 colors - one of them can also be screened to look like a 3rd color

Schön zu haben

• some form of a wave or a design that conveys movement/action
• clear crisp legibility for the words "Chamber of Commerce"
• Examples of other logos that we like, in terms of design include Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, Charlotte Folk Society,north end coffee roasters. We have attached our present logo which has tiny type. When its used on a poster its hard to even read the words which is why we just changed our name.
