Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The Michigan Abolitionist Project (MAP), is an organization that is building awareness and growing a network of community groups that are working together to prevent and end human trafficking in Michigan, USA. We believe that ending human trafficking requires a movement within our culture and every person can do something to address this issue. We want a logo for our new program "Justice Circles" to reflect the concept that we all can make a difference in the movement to end slavery.

When people become aware that slavery still exists all around the world, they are usually motivated to do something. However, many times they struggle to know what they can do to address the complex issue of modern day slavery. People may feel overwhelmed; the question we consistently hear people ask is “What Can I Do?” A "Justice Circle" happens when a person takes an opportunity to influence their unique network of friends, family, neighbors, or peers with a message or action focused on Justice. Our Justice Circle Kits are tools to help people do something to end slavery. Our vision is that when one person influences their circle of friends… and then their friends influence their circle of friends, it can have a ripple effect. The potential for "Justice Circles" to accelerate the movement to end slavery is exponential.

The attached document is a draft of our Justice Circle concept. It includes a copy of our current logo image. The new Justice Circle logo should not clash with our current branding. We want a positive and inspirational look, no chains, blood, horror movie imagery. We want to inspire people to do something positive, not shame or guilt people into action.

We are open to changing the name "Justice Circle" but we have not been able to think of a better name, so that is what we landed on so far. we have struggled as to how to market this idea, so we are open to a new name if needed
