Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
I'd like a car racing logo designed based upon my family crest (attached - sword engraving). The logo will be used on a 1960s racing car so nothing too "modern" looking. Inspiration could come from the classic Italian racing brands: Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Abarth (which also features a Scorpion). The design needs to be bold enough to be visible from a distance. A feature I'd like to keep is the "1773" that I believe is on the right side of the scorpion body which is when the crest dates from (bestowed by King George III). I'd like a vector graphic file.
Reviewing some early designs - here up some updates and clarifications:
The design needs to work in flat vinyl and justly be too fussy.
The engraving of the crest I've shared is from 1850. I'd like the design to look more 1960 so some simplication and modernisation would be good. The car is white and currently use dark blue and yellow accents which I like. Please do take a look at Ferrari/Abarth/Maserati/Alfa Romeo graphics of the period.
