Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I have a vehicle remapping (chiptuning) company in New Zealand. Quality in New Zealand is not necessary the top priority of service providers unfortunately, however the demand for it is huge. One of my primary goal was always to provide a quality service/product for my customers, eg. we only want to tune 1, maybe 2 cars a day, because we want to spend a quality time with the customers and their precious cars to provide exactly what they're after. This way, we built an excellent reputation and the logo needs to represent that quality, reliabliity and overall good feeling about the logo as well. It's challenging :)
To give a hint, the ideal logo I'm after a logo that people want to put onto their vehciles after a tuning, even the most expensive Lamborghini owner would want to have the sticker on - type of quality. I'd like to see an elegant, sophisticated logo that people will remember. The logo doesn't necessary has to directly link to the car industry (like Porsche logo, or Ferrari horse logo), it's NOT a requirement. It just needs to be a beauty one - I will take care of associating the brand with the logo myself :)
The logo can however play with the NZ icons, like
* the Interislander logo (www.interislander.co.nz)
* or the Air New Zealand logo (airnewzealand.co.nz)
* or the New Zealand Antarctic Institute's logo (http://antarcticanz.govt.nz/)

Hint: the logo can contain an animal that represents power, elegance, or being unique. (eg. jaguar, ferrari logos)

Hint: attached few pictures that suggests the style I'm after.

Hint: it would be nice to see few designs that has the following effect: imagine 3 parallel yellow lines that goes horizontally from left to right. In the first third lines are straight, then they start to open (how water dodges a rock in the river), the top line goes above the central logo, the middle one disappears ( or absorbs in the central logo image), while the bottom line also dodges the central image. This is in the 2nd third. In the 3rd third the lines unite again, flat out and ends the logo as it started.

Hint: xtremetuning as a word doens't necessary have to be in the logo. It might be handy, but not necessary.

Hint: xtremetuning as a word doesn't have to be typed fonts, can be handwritten style as well, to preresent customizability, workmanship, dedicated time and effort on the car - if you know what I mean. Our product is actually handmade from lots of sense.
