Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
DACO is a new company set up to develop tight oil sands in Western Canada. The expression tight oil sands means that the pore spaces between the sand grains are very small so it is very hard for the oil to flow out of the rock. Old technology couldnt do it but new technology can so we revisit the areas that once were thought to be uneconomic. In Australia and also in the UK there is an expression that something or someone is "as tight as a duck's arse". DACO is an abreviation of Ducks Arse Company. The logo at the moment is a stylised outline of a ducks backside as it bobs under water to feed with an oil and gas symbol where its bum hole should be.
