Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for a new brand with articles about our hometown. It is a small village directly at the river rhine where people come to enjoy the nature so water from the river would be essencial to be in the Logo. The town has a very long history, had it´s own beer brewery, was the Harbour where ships were unloaded (instead of Cologne to save taxes, attached find the old crane), we had companies that made matches and cigars. Even if it seems to be a sleepy little village now the people here are still proud of that glory times. People come to feed the swans that stay at the Ferry (see attached photo) . We were thinking about a Skyline, but maybe it is much nicer to focus on the essencial so we are curious to see your ideas. 706 might be good as number as this is the rhine-kilometer where the town is located. we also have several Sport boat Clubs.We are not sure yet if we want a logo text, The towns Name is "Hitdorf am Rhein" but we are still looking for a catchy Slogan, so it might work aswell without logo text. It should be nice for the people from outside who come here to enjoy, but also for the people who live here and have a lot of local patriotism. I hope this could give an Impression. :)
