Do you have the source file of the original logo to work with?

unfortunately not. I''ve uploaded the logo to see the old one from ''De Vries'' Now the name: "Maritiem" will be added and the logo needs to be refreshed.

Worked on a concept as described and just submitted. Would love to know what do You think.

Sorry, I find your suggested design very 'old fashioned' and not 'modernized' and 'refreshed' as you are asking and to place your symbol in an oval has nothing to do with water, sails or anything maritime. Perhaps you should have given your hand drawn design to start with, since you had an idea of what you wanted, and have wasted everyones valuable time! Who would have guessed the 'tail' of what I thought was a fish, is actually representing an 'm' for 'maritime'. Now that is 'really old fashioned' I am thinking. Hopefully I am not the only person to not get this original logo at all !!!
I will not be able to produce what you want, I think, so thanks for the invite but this is not my style at all!
