Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We need a logo for our alumni club based in New York.
Our university is 600 years old and we want a logo that reflects how proud we are of our rich and ancient heritage.
It would be great if the logo incorporated elements that symbolize the following:
1) The University Coat of Arms (the University of St Andrews),
2) Scotland (the location of the University)
3) The United States (our country)
4) New York (such as maybe a version of the New York skyline in a similar fashion to the Virginia Club of New York).
Our thought is that branches of our club in other cities could use the same logo and replace the section specific to New York with symbolism from their city.
One idea is to have four quadrants, each containing one of the previous four elements.
We are very open to other ideas as well.

I have increased the deadline for this project and I have added an extra $200 to the payment that will be received by the first place design (bringing it up to $560).

- Utilize roughly the same red, white and blue colors of our University's logo as primary components. Additional colors and gradients can also be used
- Include symbolism representing the University, America, Scotland and New York (perhaps the New York skyline like the attached UVA Club's logo).

- - It would be good if it looked good on a variety of different backgrounds.
- It would be nice if the logo was designed in a way where it looked good in full-color and black and white, but this is not entirely necessary.
