Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Even Horizon Research is a company that will provide research and consulting services to financial sector companies (hedge funds, pension funds, asset managers, banks) on economic and financial market trends. A website will be established.

The name reflects the underlying views of the company's founders with respect to the outlook for the global economy: we are pessimistic, and are concerned that there is risk of deflation in large parts of the world economy. Deflation is a terrible thing for economies since when it occurs it is very difficult to escape. This reflects the cosmology reference in the title. Event horizon's are the outer edge of black holes and when this point is passed nothing can escape. The event horizon marks the critical point when things fall into the gravity well. Strange things happen behind this point and normal rules do not apply. For this reason the sub-title of the company logo is "non-linearity and the gravity well of deflation". (Not very catchy, but we are economists and lack the marketing flair of more creative people!)

Ideally, the logo would reference space/ a black hole/ a gravity well. I attach a (horribly presented, so apologies in advance) powerpoint which provides a rough mock-up of an anticipated website. It displays my inelegant attempt to get a nice logo.
