Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new public relations and communications consultancy, based in Sydney, but working nationally, called Purpose. We build purpose-driven communication strategies and ideas that inspire and influence behaviours in complex consumer and corporate environments. Put simply, we do 'better work for brands with a why". We tell "stories that share your why" and we create "Ideas with Purpose".
The final design should feel fresh, not stale and boring, and look contemporary, even a bit edgy or cool. We are taking a new look at the old world of 'corporate social responsibility" and the logo must not look boring and corporate, but even a little bit fun and creative - to counter balance the seriousness of our mission. But not too crazy - if it feels targeted at a 16 year old, then it's gone too far! Purpose needs to feel entrepreneurial yet not 'kitchen table' and inspiring but not too worthy.
In terms of colours, we're open to options, but would prefer to avoid classic primary colours especially red or blue.
