Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

ELM Consulting Co. provides consulting, speaking, and on-site training services to the early childhood education, non-profit, and civil service sectors.

I am looking for a logo that "feels" classic but not stiff. (Think font of Tiffany & Co.) The image for the logo should be an elm tree with roots. In the text, the ELM is capitalized because ELM is my initials.

I like the line drawing art look over the clip art look. I'm looking for a balance of simple line art, but no too simplistic. My instinct is just black and white, but I am open to how color might work in the design.

The logo will often be used with my headshot (currently being edited) and the goal is for ELM Consulting Co. images to be "authentic, vibrant, trustworthy." The attached samples appeal to me for different reasons. I love the overall impression of the Percy & Reed logo. That is the "classic" feel that I am referring to. I love the font and drawing style of the Feather Fly logo. I like the hand-drawn tree and simplicity of the Cee Consulting Group logo.
