Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Looking for a logo that has an "intelligent" look but fun as well. This is for a new online service called Yurpl. Must be bold and clean. Would like to have an "icon" or possible "mascot". If using an Icon it should not be one that can be found on every stock photo site. I would like Purple in the logo but not set on that. Orange as a highlight color is a plus but again not necessary. Ideally would be good if there was away to use on dark or light background. Tag line is still being decided but will provide in logo text area.
