Hello,


Two youths in the UK have recently been given each 4 year custodial sentences for 'inciting a riot' for posting the suggestion on FaceBook. Have you checked this with your lawyers?

Thanks for your concerns ... but we are not "inciting anyone to Riot" it is the name of our annual competition day.

Hi, sorry to seem alarmist, but it is a hot topic in the UK right now, due to the recent mindless carnage levied in certain urban hotspots. The thing about the postings is that no one apart from the Police turned up.

I am no Lawyer, and 'incitement' laws vary the world over. Clearly your intentions are not to cause offence, but I am mindful that committing a slogan to print does send out a message, which may continue to 'communicate' after the event. My guess is that even the fashionable T shirts which sport the motif 'Police' could be misconstrued by certain draconian UK Judges as 'impersonating a Police officer'. Overcautious perhaps, I would still check it out, although I do wish you well in your competition, and the event itself.
