Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Logo is for a new shuttle bus for Madison NJ, USA that will serve three local universities, residents and local work force. The shuttle will drive thru the campuses, so the universities will have significant ridership and as such we want the logo to be 'cool' to an 18-21 year old.

The name of the shuttle is Madison Avenue Direct....MAD for short.

The logo will be printed on the shuttle vehicle, on bus stop signs, and on small printed schedules, so it needs to visually make sense from the size of a thumb nail up to 6' x 6'.

In addition to the logo, other graphic elements may appear on the collateral material....specifically the logos of the three universities...Drew University, St Elizabeth's College, and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Looking at their logos on line may help with color choices. Having said that, it might be so busy, that we skip using the university logos and just use their names in their respective fonts.

Logo should include the name (Madison Avenue Direct) and the tag MAD in a cool, unique font. We are thinking of a cool face such as the one used for the old Crazy Eddie stores in NJ or like Marty's Reliable Cycle in Morristown (google to see)....but we are not at all wedded to that and will consider other designs.

Maybe a tire in motion? Or maybe it is JUST the cool font, designed/layed out in a unique way. We are open to anything. We want simple, effective and visually easy to process.

We are DEFINITELY in need of a logo. Not sure if people abuse this system, but we have the $$ and desire.
