Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

My business is called "Nippon Nostalgic" I'm after a blend of American hot rod culture and Japanese classic car culture.
I would like the logo to feature a depiction of a Classic Japanese vehicle that may be interchangeable in the future. For the original design, I would like to feature a rendering of the front of a 1966 Toyota MS41 (picture supplied below.
I like old school pinstriping and Japanese naval flags could possibly be used but I'm very flexible and open.... Show me what you have got.
Another idea (picture supplied below) not sure on copyright laws but I'd like to pay homage to the old Nippon Denso spark plugs logo and alter it from Nippon Denso to Nippon Nostalgic, spark plugs to spare parts, ND to NN and the spark plug to a spanner Maybe.
