Hi. I think the project is guaranteed now. Could you send one or two designs first? I don''t plan to get many designers for this project. If I''m happy with your work, I''ll put up an update that I won''t need any more submissions and just stick to one designer whom I''ll be committed to pay in the end.

Yeah, I understand what you''re getting here. I actually took my chances to see if I could even get any response for this project as I find that there is a huge talent pool here. Maybe to be more clear, I only wanted visuals for a hostel I hope to run someday. There is no building, no starting capital, just a business plan. I''ll be using the visuals to accompany the business plan to increase my chances in getting a small start-up business grant. If I don''t get the grant, nothing will happen. If I do, I will most likely have to re-do the whole design thing anyway for the real thing. That''s why the brief isn''t very specific, there are no proper building measurements, etc. I''m just trying to put a dream on paper.

I do understand something like this should be priced higher since it seems to be a lot of work but that''s up the designer. I did put a note to designers to just submit a couple of designs first and if I''m not going to pick them, I will let them know immediately so they won''t waste their time doing the whole thing. I will also just move on if I don''t get any submissions at all for this project and suck up the costs for putting up the request in the first place.

But I''m quite curious as well, how much do you think is a fair price for a proper design project for floor plans and 3D designs?

The way you presented your brief and requirement is nice, its really makes us feel good that you do not want to waste the time of the designers.
Just one thing to ask is it comfortable for you to if we submit the 3D renders of
"Floor plan for the ground floor"
&
"Floor plan for the 1st floor"
first then the rest?
