Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We would like to create a logo for a barter exchange business that we will be buying and upgrading soon. A barter exchange is a membership-based group of business owners who sell their products and services to each other in exchange for "barter dollars." These barter dollars can then be used to purchase goods and services from other members. I've created a logo myself that you can see on our draft website, www.newbarterconnections.com, but I don't like the white rectangular background, which does not look professional to me. I would like the logo to convey the image of trading or exchanging between members. Also, since we will be buying an existing business and bringing in new technology such as online bartering and trading via smartphone, we'd like to have a modern feel to the logo. Our draft website provides more details about how a barter exchange business works.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• I think it is important to be able to easily read the text. Also, an amber color is our preference for the main color, but we would consider other color combinations. Also, my preference is a logo with some kind of image along with text, but we will consider other options that only include words.

Schön zu haben

• Possibly the design could have a more 3-D type look. Also, I'd like to have something in a color mode, plus perhaps a version of it that would appear in white lettering that would show up nicely on the homepage of our website.

Sollte nicht haben

• I do not like the white rectangular background on the logo that I created. I actually think I would like some kind of background, but not a rectangle. Maybe some type of 3-D looking shape as a background?
