Peter Kramer, an artist, is looking to replace his YouTube video (Paintings by Peter Kramer) with a new website (pkart.com) that functions in much the same way as the YouTube video, as a slide show, but which makes it much easier to import images and hold them in a library, and to add, subtract, size, rearrange, and choose transitions for a slide show. It should also allow the user to import and manipulate music with a simple interface that allows the user to expand or contract the duration slightly, excerpt and reassemble passages, and make transitions (fade, overlap, etc.) Each slide should be individually editable for screen duration, type of transition, resolution, size, and brightness, however there should be the ability to override the individual settings and create a global setting or apply certain parameters to a subset of slides, perhaps by checking a box or designating subsets by letter group (A,B,C). It would be helpful if the program automatically looked at certain parameters, particularly the brightness of each image, and auto-corrected to make them all the same, if so desired. There should also be a text editor that allows the user to add text to any slide or to create word slides (at an editing level similar to Photoshop text editing). There would also be the ability to add buttons at any point in the slide show that point to different pages in the site (i.e. "Contact Peter Kramer".), to take email messages and send them to a list of designated email addresses. The site should have the ability to link to other sites.
