Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Logo design for a new shop front hair & beauty salon based in the beach front suburb in Melbourne Australia. We have just purchased this salon after operating from home for 4 years as "Contrast Hair Design". The new salon offers beauty services as well, so we have considered broadening the name to "Hair & Beauty by Contrast" ("Contrast Hair & Beauty" is not available to register). The salon is currently named "Hair & Beauty By the Bay", despite being about 1km from the shore. Current Business card is attached for reference.
The salon is young, but elegant, with a clientele of mixed ages, heading for middle to higher income.
We would consider logos that communicate this elegance, possibly with a retro feel if this could be incorporated.

- Elegance but energetic and vibrant
- Service offered are hair, waxing, spray tans & nails. Ideally logo should not depict these services pictorially as service offering will be expanded, so Logo would become out dated quickly.
- Text should be elegant. Cinzel Decorative is one font we have found that is natural & different, but still easy to read.
Schön zu haben
- Elegant, bright, but modern looking. Text based, with maybe some graphic representation.
Sollte nicht haben
- Prefer finer fonts - stay away from Bold chunky fonts.
- No images or silhouettes of heads.
