Grafik-Design Kurzbeschreibung
The design is for the banner or header area of a planned organization that will try to use Twitter to inform Americans better about the harmful causes and effects of our extreme levels of concentration of wealth and income among less than 1% of our people.
I thought about treating the letters MAINSTREETNATION so they remind you a little of an "elevation" (frontal) view of a typical Main Street business district of a mid-size US town, the kind of place most Americans come from and live in; adding illustration elements and color to the letters, to achieve a "Main Street" look. I've downloaded a sketch of that idea. But you're the designer and probably have better ideas, which I welcome and appreciate. Thank you very much for your interest in this project!

As for the style of your design, please treat the MAINSTREETNATION type as providing a framework or skeleton that's dressed up by illustration elements, or is a platform for them, to an extent you feel works best. - Must fit Twitter's specification for what they call a background or header: 1500 pixels wide x 500 pixels high. JPG preferred.
Schön zu haben
- This project will try to appeal to peoples' most humane virtues and also the positive, constructive aspects of their patriotism. So some use of American flag colors is a possibility. Same for red-and-white stripes, and white stars on blue background- if you want to make these work in your design.
- Your graphics are to support an effort to try to reverse a serious US problem that causes a lot of other problems here and elsewhere. So I'd like the header graphic to convey the feel of a nice place, not grim, but not one from a Walt Disney fantasy either.
