Buchumschlag Design Kurzbeschreibung

I've almost completed a book on officer involved shootings...a very hot topic today. The title is "O.I.S. After The Triggers Pulled." (emphasis on "after the trigger") It details three separate shooting incidents, all within the same law enforcement family.I need a professional looking book cover that helps capture the drama. I attached a file of something I put together that is close, but I am concerned about "readability" and want a more professional look. I included a photo that I took off the internet of a gun being shot. That particular photo can stay or go, or be altered, but I like the perspective of the photo being fired from the person behind it. I wanted the cover to have the characteristics and color of a police uniform, utilizing blues, silvers, and maybe a little gold. I'm concerned about making sure the font and colors are also easy to read. I also will be working on a website design for "After The Trigger.Com" once the book hits the market. The back cover will incorporate the same colors, but only be a picture and excerpts from the book. I've included both for your review.

Muss haben

• A professional and readable appearance, that captures the drama of the topic. All the wording on the sample cover I attached, unless you come up with something better. A gun being fired from the perspective of the officer pulling the trigger. The size of the book will be the standard 6 x 9 in size. "After The Trigger" will eventually be my website domain and social media promotion hashtag.

Schön zu haben

• I would like the cover to incorporate the colors of a police uniform and badge, traditionally, navy blue, silver and some gold.

Sollte nicht haben

• No police badge with a black band across. Not my topic.
