Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Been in business for 1 year using self made basic logo. Business is expanding and have new projects on the go including tradeshows/expos and website launch in october.

Need a new logo that is clean, crisp and easily identifies what we do... sell the latest mobile phone accessories, mainly iPhone, this logo will be used on posters, business cards, flyers, retail packaging and on the website.

The company name is RyPhone or RYPHONE. We would like to see a blue/black/charcoal colour theme. The design should communicate we associate ourselves with modern technology, mainly apple, in a subtle way.

A current idea that has been tossed around in our team is using the shape of an iOS springboard app icon with concave "RY" on the inside and "phone" on the outer, imagine an embossed look within the curved square (icon shape), throw in some carbon weave even? This is just an idea any other designs are very welcome if fitting into what we do and how we want to be perceived.

Basically imagine a company trying to be identified as a tech savvy retailer whose primary product is apple accessories cases/screen protectors/chargers etc. basically any add on product to an apple iphone/ipod/ipad.

Branding is something that we hold very highly so something simple, clean and versatile will be the key.

UPDATE: Attached our original logo which is very simple and supremesque (font: futura bold oblique) i still like it but now want something that represents more our product and market.

You should also note that the RY logo will in future be detached from the PHONE so almost a combination of an emblem and wordmark logo if that makes sense.
