Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a law firm based in Dubai, UAE. The firm started small but has grown considerably.
Our offices project a younger, modern presence, conservative and reliable yet progressive and fresh.
Our team is a mixture of western and local UAE arabic lawyers and staff.
Our target market is a mixture of westerners (who often feel out-of-their-depth when it comes to the local laws and look for western-friendly companies to deal with) and arabic clients (who are used to conservative, confident lawyers).
We are now looking to refresh our look and feel, starting with the company's logo.
This project can expand into a refresher for stationary, e-mail signatures, a new website (planned), corporate brochures and so on, for the right designers.
We've included a sample of our current business card as well as a sample current letterhead. We're open to changing the style and layouts. The goal is to achieve the right look and feel that will carry the firm forwards for the next 5 to 10 years.

Our target market are westerners and expatriates in the UAE and in particular, Dubai. Additionally, we have a specalised sports-law practice and would deal with many football/sports clubs, players, agents and so on.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• As we operate in the middle east, we are dual English/Arabic in much of our marketing material, hence the principal part of the logo needs to achieve "balance" and used in either language.
• Where text is used in the logo, it will be translated (which is currently the case).

Schön zu haben

• please google a few other Dubai law firms to see how they present their image. Notable ones such as www.tamimi.com is a nice example but only to give you a flavor. If the logo is English-only we will do an Arabic-only version too (we can do the translation) but we're also open to a combined English-Arabic logo.

Sollte nicht haben

• We wish to avoid stereotypical looks of legal images like scales, gavels etc.
