Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Looking for a modern, minimal, masculine, geometric logo, that is primarily black and white. Perhaps a small urban landscape or more abstract brick and mortar background design can accomplish this. It will be for my largely commercial real estate business. It should be bold and easy to read. It should translate well to common real estate signage which will need space for a phone number, 'for sale' or 'for lease' or 'space available'. I think the design should be fairly simple and straight forward. I am imaging a a white background, with black lettering and black outlines. For example, if it were a cityscape, the buildings would be the white background, with the building outlines in black. If it were bricks, the bricks would be the white, and the mortar would be black. maybe it only needs to be a section of brick. maybe every corner of brick is not defined, but their are hints of mortar here or there. I am open to other suggestions and color options. I do like the ideal of the design translating well to the common white background of many signs, as well as the white, or off white background of a potential business card. I may also use your services for a webpage if this works out. I want the design to feel more commercial than residential. Think concrete and buildings as opposed to houses. Durham has it's own icons as well, including a bull, and water tower and smoke stack. The bull is maybe a bit over used, but the water tower has a nice iconic feel. I will find a picture. Design should not be to complicated, but minimal, bold, geometric, black and white (maybe a little color), masculine, easy to read.
