Hi Sir this contact me t-shirt design G mail abdulqadeer000001@gmail.com
Thank you for your first draft - we have supplied the feedback. We believe there is along way to go.
We have seen some interesting ideas coming from and hope we our feedback is constrictive and stimulating your creative thinking. We want not just to be impressed with your creativity but you having a stretching challenge and be proud of the final masterpiece vs. just formally meeting Clients' requirements.
I want to put here some general comments to clarify some points from the brief:
1. Australia and usage of word 'Australia' might not be a good appeal to international audience. As per brief "...we would like to for the final design to have some slight (but not blunt) associations with Australia ..." There are many others less obvious associations to choose from, e.g. animals, nature, lingo, humour, something an American or European would appreciate and could wear in his country. We just do not want to end up with e T-Shirt coming from Australian souvenir shop
2. VIVID Logo placement needs to be clear and not messing the brand identity (respect the margins, logo composition, i.e. modifications are prohibited and colours).
Basically we assess each design on three dimensions:
1. satisfaction of hard conditions, i.e. logo placement, association with Au, etc. - see brief
2. whether our customer (who bought the product) AND his like-minded friend (who have not heard of VIVID SSD) would wear it, privding they are both modern progressive and creative lifestylers who are an early tech adopters and who embraces technology in his/her busy and vivid experiences.
3. how well it fit to VIVID brand tones:
High-performing
Colorful/VIVID
Bold but Ego-Free
Unisex
Democratic Non-discriminative/International
Simple but Smart
Rugged without loosing its Aesthetics
Let us know if you have any specific questions.
Hi Designers,
We have got some very good works today. Some general guidance based on the our review and feedback provided:
Everything is measured in comparison, so the below is to serve two purposes:
- To stimulate the thinking and Get some creativity juices going - it is a creative challenge and does require more thinking than actually doing.
- to save the time for those who are not prepared to step up (yes, we believe design is an art and not just monetary quick fix, hence you should be proud of your design)
We have various level of expertise: from new to quite talented here and we see some new designers to showcase themselves and get experienced sweat.
Your proven bet: visualize the target audience of VIVID SSD (see brief), think about their lifestyles and their feeling from using VIVID SSD (see brief) and get creative, i.e. brainstorm a story/metaphor and put it onto illustration + masterfully incorporating the VIVID logo and other needed elements (Australia hints). The deeper your story the smarter your design.
When we review design - we ask ourselves - why do you did it taht way or around, and than we ponder and then we have three answers:
1. it was just random though/coincidence
2. yeah we understand it, but nothing impressive
3. wow!!! that was smart!
Guess, which ones got our attention.
Now as to the Client voting procedure: as this deign will be used o nthe T-Shirt for our Kickstarter backers - in the end of the timeline - ALL DESIGN WHICH RECEIVE RATING 5 STAR will be submitted to public voting to select a winner by our community of backers. So this work is not just crowdsourced but will be crowdvoted. It means the more of your designs with 5 star we get in the next days - the better are your chances to be on the top.
N.B. Designs with just clip-art placement and logo placement will be qualified poorly (just because we have much better works already)
It is one day left and we have just given feedback to all the outstanding designs. Hope to get it worked out and submitted on time. Let us know if you are stuck or unclear - we commit to give you regular feedback and some people already improved significantly in several iterations.
