Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We're looking to see some green, and possibly some icon or symbol to anchor the logo on, something that symbolises hiring cool toys for a holiday.

We want this to be a big retail/consumer brand. A lot of these are quite corporate.

LendYour is a community marketplace for people to list, discover and book an adventure using motorhomes, boats and yachts around the world – online or from an app.

Whether a boat for a day’s fishing, yacht for a weekend cruise or a motorhome for a week, LendYour connects people to unique travel experiences, at affordable prices, with world-class customer service and a growing community.

We are based in Wellington, New Zealand and would like to see designs that will create a similar feel to airbnb when we design the website - our business is going to be very similar to boatbound.co though. When we design the website we'll look to the structure of Apple's website since we are going to have more than one product. We'd like to see designs that reflect the tourism industry we work in, primarily with boats and motorhomes (RV's). Not necessarily looking for a logo to incorporate an image of a boat or motorhome though - this logo needs to be product agnostic. Ideally we end up with something word based, with maybe a small feature that makes us recognisable. It's intended this little feature of the logo can be used as a thumbnail in social marketing later. For instance the flick on the 'b' at www.bnz.co.nz website. I like airbnb's logo for instance. We'd like to see examples of capitalising the'L' and 'Y' and without capitalisation, or any combinations you think look good.

At the end of this logo competition we'd like to continue working with a designer to put together design for the rest of our branding and hope to have a longer term relationship.

Hopefully i've been reasonably clear in this brief, but please do email me further questions or for clarification. Uncomplicated, recognisable (at a glance) and classy would be my 3 key words.
