Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a small Finn-tech start-up. Our investment service (www.chinaspeculator.com) helps savvy investors to find top Chinese stocks from Hong Kong, US and Singapore stock exchanges and profit from China’s growth. Although we are an “investment service”, our edge is based on technology, open data and agility. We definitely don’t want to be mixed with clumsy old banks or traditional investment services, but with the Financial Technology start-ups that are currently disrupting the Finance industry with technology, open data and speed.

We need a logo for our service. It will be used in:
1) our website
2) our mobile apps (icon + splash screen) – iPhone, Android, Windows Phone
3) our China investing book – as a “watermark” in sector heading pages and as a part of the book cover design
4) and in our PowerPoint presentations

Also there should be logo versions both with text (“China Speculator”) and also without the text.

Colors:
Currently our primary color is #88C198 and secondary color is: #017487. However, I’ll give you the designers’ freedom to propose any colors and combinations. We currently feel that golden Chinese symbol 8 in the #88C198 background might work well – but feel free to surprise me with other suggestions.

Our slogan is (does not have to be included in the logo design):
“Profit from China”

Our target market is non-(mainland)Chinese investors who want to invest in Chinese stocks and profit from China’s growth. Currently investors from western countries (US, Europe, Australia) make about 40% of our user base, followed by 25% from (Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia) and 15% from India. Our service is in English.
