Web-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need to develop a web site that helps promoting the launch of a new book. The title is "Wise Family Business - Family Identity Steering Brand Success". It aims to help families in business to identify new and better ways of achieving longevity, sustainability and performance. The book presents ground-breaking new insights and practical examples from a range of growing family businesses in which the owning families are visible and, in most cases, have branded the business with their family name.
The authors are academics but the book is written for non-academics. Core markets are Western Europe, HK, NY. It will be distributed and sold via the publisher Palgrave Macmillan and Amazon. The launch date is May 2, 2016.

We would like to see strong and visionary imagery on the web site that expresses the following concepts:
-Family identity has the power to tie together families in business and leverage their values when developing and sharing the owner’s vision with their stakeholder communities. Developing a family business identity is key when building and managing an authentic, recognizable and trusted brand.
-Family businesses that have successfully translated strong identities into strong brands are not only perceived as attractive employers but also add meaningful value to the business over generations.
-Family companies are often shy about the fact that they are owned by families. This book not only shows that, in a world of faceless corporations, they have a great deal to gain by celebrating their family roots. It provides them with a guide of how to conduct that celebration: that is how to build on the public’s natural affection for family businesses without exposing the family itself to undue obtrusiveness.
-A must read for any of the growing number of people who are interested in the subject of families in business….

The style of the design can be described with the following attributes: sleek design, visionary, insightful, open and communicative. What it is not: hard selling, shouting, theoretical, academic, introvert.
