Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new brand based in GB which is producing and retailing speciality Wagyu beef in Britain. Cotswold Wagyu beef is from cattle that are bred and reared on the family-run farm on the outskirts of Tetbury in Gloucestershire (the Cotswolds). It is a premium product both in terms of its quality and price; produced to high standards of animal welfare and as 'naturally' as possible. Wagyu beef is recognised for its high level of 'marbling' - the special fat that melts at a low temperature to give a unique flavour and juicy texture. We believe the use of 'Cotswold' has positive associations with a rural, warm, quality environment. Local (Cotswolds) with GB-wide potential. 30 years+, mixed male/female, high disposable income. Discerning 'foodies' - prepared to pay for quality produce and likely to prefer for example, organic and Fair Trade food. They will have a conscience re. where their food comes from and how it is produced. Note buyers will be a mix of 'public' and trade (restaurants, event + venue caterers, delicatessens, etc).

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Happy for the logo to be just words, or to incorporate some sort of simple icon. It must be suitable for print and online use, plus on packaging, pos and vehicle/staff livery, trade stands for example.
• The logo must portray the Cotswold Wagyu brand values (of course it's not to physically 'state' them!).
• - Premium (the 'Aston Martin' of the beef industry)
• - Distinctive and Sophisticated
• - Modern and Fresh
• - Family-owned and Caring
• - British/local/Cotswold
• - Healthier and Traceable

Schön zu haben

• Ability to use the logo on both plain and image backgrounds without needing to be in a physical 'block' for example. Preferably colour/s that aren't too complex so the logo can be reproduced without special colour mixes/dyes needed. We would also like to be able to incorporate colour potentially in documents/emails we produce in-house, so if available in the pc/mac standard colour palette that would be great.
