Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We are "Dos Guapos." Two guys crafting boutique salsas out of Austin, Texas. Our tag line is "Hand Crafted Salsa From Austin, Texas". We use authentic Mexican cooking techniques and use only the freshest ingredients with no additives or preservatives. We sell classic red and green salsa, as well as way-out-there Mexican varieties likes Chipotle Negra and Mango y Habanero. We've tested our recipes, we're ready to go to market, and we're confident that our salsa is better than the rest!
**Please note** Our target market is specific. We are looking to sell our product to middle- and high-end food consumers. We are now selling at local farmers markets and will soon move into local convenience and specialty food stores and high-end supermarkets, like Whole Foods and Central Market. Most brands in these places have clean, clear, local, and unique branding.
We're looking for a logo that stands out from the crowd and conveys originality! We really like the idea of using skeletons as the Dos Guapos!!

This logo design will be going on our salsa labels which will most likely have the dimensions of 7.5" x 2.5" and be printed on a semi-glossy label. With that said, it will also be the logo that goes on everything else (website, banners, etc) so this will be our identity.
We want to encourage and empower people to explore other options for salsa as a condiment, beyond dipping chips.
Austin is currently a melting pot for local artisans and we want this portrayed in our final design as our customers will be people who "buy local."
We want to keep the colors very simple (preferably 1-2 colors).

Thank you all who have participated so far, we have thoroughly enjoyed seeing your work. We would really love to see some additional designs so we have decided to increase the budget for this design as well as award the 2nd and 3rd place entries!
ALSO, we have updated the description so if you have already read it, PLEASE go back and re-read it so we can ensure everyone is on the same page.
