Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
The Save Australian Clinical Trials Campaign will be launched Monday 24th Aug to collect support from the community, medical/research professionals and industry to lobby the government to take more action on improving the environment for clinical trials in Australia. Currently, companies are moving their clinical trials overseas to places like India and China, because of cost, timeliness and difficulty in recruiting patients here. The impact for Australia will be less money in research, a brain-drain of Australian research and researchers/doctors to overseas, loss of jobs, fewer opportunities for patients to access new drugs quickly, and less money supporting our healthcare system. (Clinical trials contribute upwards of $1billion to support our healthcare system). I would like a logo that will hopefully elicit an emotional response such that people feel compelled to sign up to the petition. At a minimum, it should be professional looking.
The logo will initially be used on a website that is in creation, and the colours will inform the website design. It may then inform development of posters, handouts, etc (which may be posted as a separate project once the logo is designed).
This is an altrustic campaign, and as such, funding is limited. However, to compensate for the minimal prize offering, we will offer the contest winner the opportunity to display their logo (linked to their website) on the "save Austrlaian clinical trials" website as a supporter of this campaign.

Liking the designs coming in so far. On reflection, a plain simple looking text style (Arial-like or similar) is appealing to me most in the designs coming in.
Also, the website in development so far has a blueish theme, so preferably the colour scheme should be something that will at least complement/co-ordinate with blue. I will provide a link to the draft website as soon as available.
If you are including some kind of Australia outline/map/etc as part of your design (which is not completely necessary), please be sure to include Tasmania (the island state off the bottom of Australia). Thanks.

Thank you to all designers that submitted a wonderful range of logo designs. I am currently evaluating the designs and will be making a decision by the end of this week.
