Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I'm looking for a logo for my Pilates studio in Willow Glen, CA. Willow Glen is an upscale,trendy suburb of San Jose. I want something that is crisp and modern without being busy. A logo that is simple and easily recognized is ideal. I am a big fan of the style and logo of The Dailey Method, although my logo should not be too similar as they could be considered a competitor. I would like to appeal to the progressive young California crowd (many in their 30s) and those that are active and hoping to maintain that "young feeling". I am not a fan of the spa, zen, "yogi" type logos. My clientele consists of both men and women. I like the use of all lowercase letters and would possibly entertain the use of EnCore (as Pilates focuses on your body's core). When I was trying to design my own logo I thought of an orange background with encore written in white and pilates written in black. I like the shorter, wide, lower case font that has been used recently.
