Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
The TC Jacks are a group of soccer enthusiasts in Minneapolis/St Paul MN. The Jacks were established in 2007 as a safe place for LGBT soccer players to socialize and play soccer. Since then it has grown to be inclusive of all allied fans.
As a competitive organization, they form several different men's and co-ed teams for various leagues in the area and even travel occasionally to tournaments in North America.
The current logo is rather intricate and masculine. The organizers would like to replace the current logo with a soccer crest like other clubs but would like to take some of the hyper-masculine edge off to be more inclusive of non-male players.
The uploaded file is a rough sketch of an idea that we came up with. It's a fairly standard soccer crest with some design hints. The star at the top is representing the North star, appropriate for our geography. The chevron pattern is an abstraction of a tree, a throwback to the current TC (Lumber)Jack without being super masculine.
A more refined version of this crest would be great, however, please feel free to throw something completely different out there. Blue and white would be great, but color pallet is not a huge concern.

- Though it is an LGBT organization, we do not require or desire typical gay/lesbian icons such as the rainbow or inverted triangle.
