App-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Proposal for redesign of the main screens of our comic book creation app Strip Designer which is currently available for iPhone and iPad on App Store here:

We are looking for suggestions for a new modern, polished and professional look for Strip Designer. The focus should be on icons, colors, and fonts on the main editing screen.

This project is not a full redesign, but should merely contain suggestions for what the app could look like!

Proposals are preferably based on the current design/layout of the app's components, and should focus on redesign of icons or colors.

Proposals should be based on the screenshots on App Store (attached). I.e. preferably replacing them with the new look of the app. Proposals are required in both iPhone 6 and iPad (Air/Mini) screen sizes (Retina).

The new look should be:
• Professional and clean
• Stay somewhat in line with iOS guidelines
• Mostly flat design
• Quiet (not dominate users' content)
• Exciting but not too playful
• Accessible and easy to navigate (no ambiguous icons or gestures. Labels on tool buttons).
• Use only fonts on iOS7 or higher

Preferably, most or all 10 attached screenshots should be replaced with your proposed counterparts reusing the current user content ("Kitchen Wizard" and "At the beach") . I.e. replace fonts, colors, and icons only. You are free to create your own screenshots from scratch, if you feel that can better reflect your proposal.

We can provide free access to the app using promotional codes.

We are interested in redesigning the app, so if we see a good proposal we will be interested in further collaboration

Strip Designer is a comic book creation app for iOS (iPad and iPhone) purchased and downloaded by many hundreds of thousands of users.

The app has been around since 2009 with several major updates and is one of the first and best comic book creation apps for iOS.

It is a very feature rich app. Its features include:

• many balloon options (head and tail settings)
• merge of balloons and adding tail control points for better tail control
• complex text layout (warp and perspective)
