or u can set ur printer to rvg to print it the way it been made

you realise that printing to your desktop printer will give one result, another printer will give another visual colour and so on (they will be in the same colour region but depending on if the printer has CMYK cartridges, or 6 colour or even 8 and also depends how your software interprets the CMYK or you let the printer do it by overriding the settings)? Unless your printer is calibrated (even professional Litho presses can give subtle differences) and of course on screen is RGB and will look very different again.

Hi, thanks a lot for your comment. I have no problems with subtle differences, but I have a problem when my logo looks blue on the screen an purple on paper. I need a blue logo, ICC=ISO Coated v2. I have seen blue logos in the newspaper today, I guess it should be possible somehow :-)

First of all, whoever designed your logo and stationery should have given you proper PANTONE, CMYK and RGB colors for your logo and brand colors. If you have these or any of these - that would be a great starting point.

Printing on a desktop printer and at a printing press can yield different results - the type of paper and the color of paper you use also affects printed color. Thats why its important to get PANTONE colors from designers while getting your logo done so that you get the same outcome in the press for your marketing materials.

Thanks for your helpful comment. Unfortunately the designer was not as professional as you are, at least in terms of colors. Is start feeling like the guy in a TV ad, standing at a Starbuck's counter, overwhelmed with all the questions about flavour, size, origin etc and all he wanted was just a plain simple coffee. :-) just blue .... I hope someone can help me out.

1) The PNG logo looks great, even on different screens. They differ, but I dont mind, because its blue
2) I have the logo printed on aluminium, based on the PNG and it looks great. Blue.

I guess that means all I have is the RGB colors. Now with these values we know approximately how the thing looks on screen. And based on that colors, call it the original, it should be possible to fix the AI by replacing RGB by some blue in PANTONE/CMYK colors that you mentionned.
