Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo design for a new start up business here in Singapore. I will design and manufacture my own line of children's clothing under the label "Cherish". I'm a mother of 2 who has decided to create a line of simple yet quality frocks for both boys and girls from 6 months to 5 years. For boys, we'll have printed shirts and shorts and girls, dresses, rompers, skirts etc ... (there's just so much to do for girls!)

I want the brand to be simple, classy and recognisable. So it needs to be rather distinct yet be versatile as I'm also intending to have an accessories line - so we're talking about bibs, blankets, pillows etc - in future.

I want the brand to communicate quality products. I imagine a shop predominately white in colour with country-style fittings and yet have burst of colours from the clothings, products on sale, stuff toys etc . I'm actively sourcing for organic fabrics but do not want to limit myself to only manufacturing / selling organic clothing.

Zielmarkt/( -märkte)

Targeting parents who are after quality products, more on the upscale, middle - high end consumer segment. Pricing strategy is around USD40-70 for a piece. (considered mid-upper end as one can get USD10 per piece for apparels manufactured in bulk from china)

Muss haben

• I'll like the design to also consider the clothing labels that goes onto each individual pieces of clothing. I'm intending to have side labels (those that sticks out at the side of a dress with the brand name) as well as an iron-on back label (with brand name and sizing). So the logo can't be too long or too big otherwise the side labels will be sticking out too much. Should not be too complicated as well or have too many colours as label costs will be too high.

Schön zu haben

• - Prefer more pastel-like colours such as grey against red, sky blue, light green
• - Love red (and variations) which is versatile and adds that extra oomph
• - I've indicated the logo text above but it is not necessary to be incorporated into the logo.

Sollte nicht haben

• - Avoid gaudy colours
• - Avoid anything overly childish
