Illustration-Design Kurzbeschreibung

StoryArchy Entertainment is looking for an Illustrator for their upcoming short film "The Congregation." Specifically, we're seeking a "teaser" poster. The poster will be used on our Kickstarter page to attract potential donors.

The film is about a priest who experiences a crisis of faith when members of his congregation begin encountering UFOs.

For the poster, we would like a stained-glass window -- like the kind you'd find in a typical Catholic church. Only instead of religious iconography, the window should be comprised of various alien spaceships. To be clear: the spaceships are not IN the window, but PART of the window design. It is not supposed to be literal, but surrealist.

Secondly, in front of this window, with his hands clasped in prayer, is the priest. He should be photo-real and cast in silhouette. There's a brilliant shining through the stained glass and we only glimpse the priest as a dark form -- backlit by the glowing window.

Lastly, the title of the short film "The Congregation" should appear along the top of the poster. The tagline -- "They came from the realm of glory" -- should run along the bottom of the poster.

• Really creative and thoughtful incorporation of spaceships in the stained glass… if you've ever looked at a stained-glass window in a church, you know they have an incredible level of detail, wonderful colors, and are powerful to behold (regardless of your religion).
