Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We recently purchased the historic Petroleum Building in downtown Wichita. It was built in 1929, and we want the logo on the building to match its character. The first place we intend to put this new logo is on the garage door of the building. Please see attached images of the building and garage door - note that we are buying a brand new solid door, but we intend to keep the "MONTHLY PARKING" written above the door. We want the logo to be simple enough that it won't be too busy, easy to read, stand out... We have put a few options together on our own, but nothing is quite right. Please see attached image of the logo that - so far - is everyone's favorite, though it is still far from perfect, to get an idea of what our design taste is. I also included a picture of the front lobby - with the two original elevators installed in the Petroleum Building back in 1929 to help give a feel for the general look where this logo might be used. (We're getting rid of that ugly carpet...)
