Jitomate is the mexican term for a simple red tomato.
Jitomate is a food experience blog. This means I write about the experiences around a particular food, place or drink.

Its not a cooking blog, I dont share recipies or talk about stuff I prepare,but about the place, the taste, price, sound, environment etc.

my tagline is "foods and drinks, rice, grapes and spices from different corners of the world"

Ive written about food from all continents and Ive been actually featured in the cooking channel, talking about the food in my hometown.

Its a pretty popular blog even when I dont update it too often (once or twice a month is my goal).

Im trying to develp the brand around it . As I said, its pretty popular, so I need a logo to go with it. Also, Im creating a new spin off the blog, I want to take people on street food tours and leverage the reputation Ive gotten from the blog.

Finally, there are some great places that really stand out and I want the blog to endorse them. I will print stickers so the places that Ive reviewed and endorse can stick them to their windows or cars and maybe even create a

I chose to name the blog Jitomate due to the simplicity of the vegetable and the way it can be found in mexican salsas, in scottish breakfast and even in italian pastas.

summary, the logo should show a red tomate, be easily printed and stamped and I should be able to create "grading stickers" or something with it...

the sticker will most likely include the url to the blog (yet to be defined the final URL).
