Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I am needing a l logo for a nonprofit website. We are enabling people to get help with ANY need they may have by first helping someone else in need. It is called "For the Love of Humanity".

The website is built around a tree (yes like at Christmas time) where they can search for someone in need within their own community. After they gave fulfilled someone else's need they get a code that allows them to put up their own need.

I want colors that evoke the feeling of kindness, compassion, love. Nothing real cartoonish. Elegant and calming is the feel of the website.

Initially I was thinking something to do with a big Oak tree in combination of a heart. Some sort of morphing of the heart and tree together.

I am also thinking another option is a heart with the name :For The Love Of Humanity" around the top outside edges and a shadow of a person in the middle holding their hand or 2 hands up to the sky resembling the act of offering help or reaching out for help.
