Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

XI Effect, LLC is a company that provides products related to giving and acts of kindness. We want to reflect the ripple effect that an act of kindness can have on humanity. For instance, when you perform an act of kindness, it becomes contagious and spreads.

Ripple effect is the key here. We tried to prototype an example (see attachment). Our prototype was created using Adobe Photoshop. It is not a good image for print because the swirl and fonts are not sharp - they bleed and the swirl grays out. We need a solid, high quality image for print, as well as something that is identifiable. The logo does not have to match our prototype - it is provided as an example only, but we like the idea of showing a ripple effect, like when a pebble is thrown into water and you see the ripples spreading. We would like to see options that match our prototype as high quality. We would like to see new designs as alternatives as well.

The colors in the attached prototype are colors we would like to see. The words use hex #666699 (RGB = R:102, G:102, B:153). The font used for "xi" is called Pristina - we are not sure if this is a high quality font for printing, so we'll want this or something similar. The word "effect" should be in a different font than the word "xi". We need "xi" to be prominent and "effect" to be much smaller. If a new font set is created for this logo, we will need the font file as well as the logo. We will own all copyrights to both if selected as winning design.

Must be high quality for print. Must be scalable - must look good when scaled down to a small size or up to a larger size. Must look great if printed in black and white. Must have representation of a ripple effect. The name "xi effect" must be a part of the logo.

• The example prototype has the words, "Imagine. Invent. Inspire." - do not include these words. Should not be too many colors - one or two colors.
