Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a cool logo for my new brand Strong Kong - a play with words based on Hong Kong and the word Strong. The idea is to have a mascot which is based on arcade King Kong.
The Logo should be cheeky, simple and work in monochrome.
I want to include the mascot in future designs (for t-shirts, sweaters, etc.) in different situations like squatting, deadlifting, ...

So I guess, the challenge is to create a logo that's cool and simple with the potential to expand on the theme. Which means potential follow-up projects for the designer (like Kong in different situations).

To be clear, the logo should include the mascot.
