Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are after a graphic / logo for a racehorse - Prince Of Penzance. This horse won the most prestigious race in Australia the 2015 Melbourne Cup and is therefore considered an elite racehorse.

The logo/graphic will be embroided on caps so it should be eye catching but fairly simplistic and not too busy. People who see the logo will likely have to ask what the letters stand for and mean. The design should reflect speed, strength and power.

The graphic should include the following:
1) The 3 initials of the horse P O P or P o P
2) A silhouette of the Melbourne Cup Trophy

The design should not include any pictures, illustrations or words. The initials will be the main dominant feature. Similar to most baesball caps - e.g. New York Yankees. The Cup trophy should be less dominant than the initials and be somewhat subtle or less obvious in the overall design.

The colours of the logo/graphic will be mauve and white (predominant colours of the jockey silks). Only a maximum of 2 colours should be used in the design. No tones or shades. The logo can be displayed on a dark green background as this will be the likely colour of the cap.

Please see attached pictures of the horse and jockey plus a Melbourne Cup trophy which can be used for the silhouette.

Please also see some examples of some baseball style caps with embroidery letter logos. We are after a similar feel with the letters P O P.
