CONTENTS OF THE INFOGRAPHIC
10 Steps to Building an Online Business You Can Be Proud Of
1. Pray
Ask God to guide you and let Him know that you are ready, willing, and able to change paths, if He makes it clear to you. Proverbs 16:9 says, we can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.
2. Why
Ask yourself "why" you are doing this. Leverage your goals and dreams to pull you towards success. Place pictures on your desktop or other places you will see them regularly.
3. Avatar
Picture yourself in a desperate time in life. The people who you can serve now are going through that. Create your products, services, content, and copy to "speak" to 1 specific avatar (YOU; in that time of desperation).
4. Commit
"How" you will serve your avatar is yet to be discovered. If you are "half in", your avatar will continue to suffer. Commit at least 10 hours per week to building this business, for the next 12 months... and don't expect to be profitable in the first few months.
5. Model
Pick 1 "guru" to model. If you attempt to do this on your own, with no mentohrship, your probability of failure is higher because mistakes can be costly. On the other hand, if you pick too many "gurus" to follow, your probability of failure is also high because you develop "shiny object syndrome".
6. Ask
Before you create a product or service, ask your audience what their biggest challenge is, to affirm that your idea is in demand.
7. Specialize
Read a few books, watch training videos, and do research online to become a specialist in your area. For example, if you believe that QuickBooks would have been the solution to your "desperate time in life", spend a few dozen hours learning about it so that you can teach your audience the shortcut to success in QuickBooks. If you have already mastered QuickBooks (for example), you can skip this step.
8. Creation
Create a mini-version of your product/service and offer it for less money. About 1 in 10 product/service ideas succeed. Do not spend a lot of time creating your product/service until you KNOW it is in demand. To find out, write a blog post that dives deep on 1 of the topics of your product/service and points them to your solution. If you are getting a lot of engagement, that is a good sign.
9. Launch
Advertise your blog post on Facebook and target fans of a thought leader that your avatar would be following because of this challenge. For example, someone looking to get out of debt may have liked Dave Ramsey's page.
10. Nurture
Keep a database of prospects and customers. Create new content, new products, new services, and point them to good resources to nurture the relationship and make money.

Project Deadline Extended Reason: Thank you for your interest in my infographic job. I have had a request to extend the deadline. Added Wednesday, May 18, 2016
Thank you for all your submission! Here are some helpful information that may give a bit of clarity:
- Illustration of a person is preferred over a photo or real images; can be cartoony, semi-real, open to any illustration style
- I'd rather see the image of the person be used less and instead use colorful images of objects, symbols, etc.. that appeals to the emotion and tells the story of the situation. Similar to the infographic found here: http://leonsbeautytipsandsecrets.com/12-amazing-beauty-benefits-of-honey-infographic/
Notice how different images were used in some of the items rather than showing a person to explain the content.
The contest will be extended for another round! Looking forward to your new submissions, Thanks again!
